This is a painting of a voluptuous female bust in rich oil colours and textures. I have given it the title of 'Helen' after Helen of Troy for her infamous beauty.
I adore the colour and shine that oil gives and this artwork is really stunning if I do say so myself (truly one of my favourites!) The sensual subject and style is an interesting mix between the old world and the new: a Roman-like bust but with contemporary brushstrokes.
